Love the fact that it has nothing but good quality beer....6-point only...and a lot of it for a pretty good price. The mixed drinks are nicely priced too such as 3 dollar 7and7s. There is an area that is non smoking. Also, 4 full-service bars and u can start a tab at one bar and keep ordering drinks at the other 3 b/c ur name is in their computer until u tab out. Lots of room to walk around including an upstairs floor with several differenr rooms...good for if u go with a group of people, u have a semi-private place to urselves provided it isn't a super-busy night. I loved my experience there.
I have made a habit of going to their Tuesday night trivia with the guys from the Lost Ogle. It is always a really good time. We gather at the Speakeasy around 7 o'clock to grab a table and then order some drinks. Show up early if you plan to sit down. The food is pretty good, too. I recommend the bacon wrapped chicken medallions or the nachos. Both are really good. They have a pretty decent selection of beer to keep trivia knowledge on point. They do not offer table service for drinks, but that is not a big deal. All in all a very good time at a pretty cool bar.
Quiet evening on a Wed. Will have to try on the weekend. Beer selection was good too.
Door boy had short man syndrome, and needed to be smacked around. Service sucked, one restroom in the whole place, the other two were broken, crowded, drinks sucked, bartender could not tell me what beer they had, teenage spring break style bar. Don't wast your time. Unless you want to have some fun with the door boy.
What can I say u want a good time come here.
