Great food at reasonable prices. The restaurant is a classic “lunch counter”, although there are only a few seats at the counter. There are plenty of tables, though. The sign out front says “Milton Drugs”. “Soda Fountain Eatery” is in smaller letters on the front window. We missed the sign the first time and had to drive by again to find it.
Sandwiches are the main menu items. We had several and they were all good. The Soda Fountain Quesadilla was excellent. I had the soup, 3 pepper corn chowder. It was served with tostada chips instead of crackers. It was some of the best soup I have ever had.
Most sandwiches are $3.25 for a half and $4.75 for a whole and come with potato chips. I had the soup and sandwich combo with a cup of soup and whole sandwich was $5.95. (Dec 2007)
The sandwiches were all we could eat so we didn’t try the ice cream or other deserts.
