I ate the chopped steak Reuben Sandwich and Fries. It is very good. The oldschool 1950's diner theme is well done too. Lots of character to this place. If you're lucky you may get to sit next to the greatest steel guitar player in the country like I did
They screwed up the order and were very very rude when politely told so. The owner was also very hostile. Will never eat there again. First and last time.
This was a delightful surprise. I have driven by this restaurant many times but will never "drive by" again. The reuben was phenomenal, the onion tanglers delicious, and the bread pudding brought a tear to my eye. I highly recommend this joint.
My wife & I have eaten out at literly hundreds of restaurants across the eastern US, And we have never enjoyed the food, service & atmosphere anywhere as what we found at the Diner 23. The 50's decor, the great food, our wonderful waitress & the owner, Mike Corwin, make dining out a lot of fun. Waverly is so LUCKY to have an establishment like this in their community!!!
