chefs are awesome food is good quality and just a nice place all around
I was here once with friends, I can't say everything was bad. The sushi is not traditional sushi like most people would expect, but it also wasn't very good. The service wasn't bad until they were rushing us to get another table seated, we didn't stay long, the chef cooked, they checked on us once, and delivered the checks. I don't blame the servers, more management problems, they all seem like nice people, just not the line of work for all of them. Some looked like they were more comfortable than others. If you have questions about menu items, it might be a good idea to research before you go. It's definitely not the worst like my review might seem, but when you're paying for the food, it should be a little better. The fried rice was just okay, I've actually had better at a Chinese take-out place. The portions were okay, not huge, but not too small. I just couldn't get over paying $40.00 for the various sushi rolls and sushi we ordered. It just tasted like it was from a grocery store. I definitely should have ordered one or two rolls to try before ordering what we did.
One of my families favorite restaurants. Never tried the sushi, but we love the salad and entrees and the kids get a kick out of the flaming onion volcanos, etc. Lunch service is almost half the price of dinner, so I recommend that.
Not sure about all the negative reviews but I have never had a bad experience here in over 50 visits. The chefs are very friendly. The chicken teriyaki is outstanding. The sauce they give you to put on it is amazing. The whole experience is really fun. Give it a shot!
The best I'be ever had. I'be been her a dozen times. There shrimp sauce is to die for.
