Ye Olde Mill is an old-style icecream shop and eaterie that also hosts an icecream museum, a gift shop and gorgeous parkland where you can feed the ducks. The prices for the ice-cream might be a little high, but it's delicious and they don't skimp on anything. It is the perfect place to spend a lazy summer afternoon. They also host an icecream festival, usually in May, and you can find dates for this at their website if you google them.
A great place to take your family, and kids. Best tasting Ice Cream. They are in a restored old stone Mill built in the 1800’s with free tours. They also have a great park with ponds. Shelters , Trials, and Petting Zoo. They have events during most weekends in the summer, and shelters to rent for groups. My motorcycle Association makes a trip to Velvet Ice Cream every summer for the last 2 years, and have a cook out at one of Velvet’s Shelters. It is Worth the trip!
Their Ice cream is Absolutely amazing. They usually have great events ever weekend in the summer. They also have a petting zoo and a playground.
