If you enjoy homey, small town family restaurants, then Ben & Joy's Restaurant is the place to go! I have had breakfast here three times and will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. A local business definitely worth supporting! Staff: Very friendly! Greeted folk by name as they came in. My mom was told how adorable she was and was given a hug by our server, a perfect stranger. What a feeling of family! Food: Delicious, home style cooking. I've only had their breakfast, but have enjoyed it thoroughly. Prices: Very reasonable! Lower than comparable chain restaurants. My only complaint: Toast isn't buttered edge to edge. :-)
Just got home from Deer Creek State Park and found Ben and Joy's Restaurant on Saturday night and what a delicious buffet bar they have, you just want to sample everything and then go back for a fill-up. The food was outstanding and we returned on Sunday for their all-day breakfast, thanks to Paulette, our waitress for telling us about it and to everyone for their hospitality, including Shiene (sp, sounds like Cheyenne) who talked to us on Sunday. If ever in this area again we will definitely return, they treat you as if you were their kinfolk and set a feast before you.
Best good home cookin!!! we went on a saturday and we ordered the buffet but it was still fresh and delicious. All you can eat ribs and fried chicken with fresh salad veggies and of course potatoes. I didnt get dessert but it looked great as well from afar! We will deff go back when we are in mt sterling again.
The best fried potatoes I've ever had!
Our truck broke down in MT Sterling. Technician said 1 HR to fix. Where can we eat? He directed us to Ben & Joys. A server came outside, while we we trying to make a decision and told us you won't be disappointed. Man, was she right!
