LongHorn Steakhouse

This place has the absolute worst service of any restaurant in Chillicothe bar none. No matter how empty the place is you have to take a buzzer and wait at least ten minutes to be seated, which can be a bit infuriating when the wait staff is standing around making conversation and there's 8+ tables visibly empty and clean. You wait forever on your server to arrive and even longer to have your order taken, most of the time you can forget refills unless you're drinking water and by chance catch the random waitress that's walking around with a pitcher of ice water. The quality of food ranges from being so good you'll forget how terrible the service was... to being so bad you'll forget how terrible the service was. From experience, the food quality seems to be much better at lunch time on weekends.
This is the second time we have been here and both times was BAD!!!!! My husband ordered sweet tea and it took them an hour to get it and then had the balls to try to charge us!! When she brought the bill I said is the tea on there because it took an hour for him to get it and he's only took like 4 drinks because he was about done aetting when he recieved it! she said hold on and took the bill back and took it off. It took forever to get our appetizer and salad. I asked for more dressing and never got it!! WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE!!!
I went there with 7 family members on my 65th birthday. I called ahead at 5:30 and told them we would be there at 6:15. You would think on a monday night that would be fine. I walked into the desk and gave my name telling them when I had called. The "receptionist" literally threw a pager at me and said nothing nor smiled. We were seated at 7:00. My daughter asked for a high chair and booster seat and they were pretty much thrown at her by the same sweet receptionist. As a matter of fact there were two of them and I thought there was only one anti-christ. By 7:30 no one had taken drink orders or paid any other attention to us. I went and found the manager, Ray Wise, and by the time I was done with him I was no longer in a "Birthday" mood. I should mention neither was he. He assigned us a very nice waitress who took good care of us the rest of the evening. The manager did pay for my meal. I would rather he fired the two receptionists. I told him that was the third time I had been there and in spite of his efforts and the waitress, I will "never" go back. P.S. Did I mention there were probably 25 people total in the place? Regards, Tom Stanhope
Can't really comment on the food, other than it seemed a little overpriced, as I never got waited on. I sat at a high top in the bar area. It was not busy. Took 10 minutes to get a drink and never saw the waiter again so I left. Will never try this place again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have heard similiar complaints.
