Drive by this on my way from Cleveland out to the wildlife areas in Ashtabula... always wanted to stop in and finally did. The place sports the attitude more of a bar then a restaurant, but I enjoyed my lunch. I only tried short-order with a burger, but there are (at least) a few unexpected plates on the menu. Service was very nice - friendly, talkative when we initiated chat, and most importantly, attentive and quick. I'm sure the bar jumps off on the weekends, which is why they can't have priceless paintings on the wall. But everything was very clean and neat: tables, floor etc. Restrooms were probably the best I've seen in regard to restaurants that become bars after 6; if I ate out of sinks this place would be high on my list. Hope to go back next time I'm passing through.
8 of us couples ate there,everyone was very happy with all the food Fillet was fantastic, fish wings were great, loaded potatoes were the best we have ever had. Outside setting was so nice on a summer day. We all loved it there.sure glad we found out about it.
