While living in Coudersport, PA, I would make a special round trip through Wellsville to get to Olean and back again monthly for two Hots and a Strawberry shake. Even in the snowy months. You can't do a chili-dog better than this.
The waitresses will apologize a lot if your food is even a ten minute wait, there really nice, food is very cheap, and really good. If you dont like texas hot your not human
Wonderful must-see place in the Southern Tier of NY. If you are in town, grab yourself some lunch from here. I am critical in my reviews, and the only thing you will get here is critical acclaim. Yum.
When you walk in and see the old paneling, packed booths and linoleum counter you know you have entered a time warp... the prices are reasonable, the waitresses are down home friendly. The Texas Hots are excellent, the milkshakes real (made in machines in front of you) and the fires are unique.
Nice friendly people with some great food. A must stop for a Texas Hot!
