A hidden gem. We found this place by accident and have made it a regular stop on every trip on the I-90. Excellent German food. The Jaeger Schnitzel and Wiener Schnitzel with Spaetzle are amazing.
Old Erie has been my go to place for decades and not only for the most authentic Schnitzel and spetzle this side of Munich.

We were driving from Auburn NY to the Catskills and stopped for lunch at this restaurant. I will look for an excuse to go back! The food was quite good. I had a lovely garden salad with an excellent fresh dressing. My companion had a grilled turkey sandwich that was very moist and tasty. Anyone who has made turkey burgers knows that it take some care to prevent them from being dry. The biggest surprise came when we got our bill. Less than $15 for a truly excellent lunch for two!
