Wonderful experience at the Scotland Yard Pub! A true New York City vibe in this long, narrow pub full of good people and food... love the attention to the camaraderie of the patrons. Food is "down-home" with a flair towards unique tastes.Very personable and engaged owners!
This a place a singer from sweden left very fast. He is son t evert taube. But I was there quite often when i lived in New York . I enjoy the group just us very mutch, They were all very nice and place was very nice of course Leena J Sweden
Love the SYP! Had a large group of us there recently and everything went really well. The food was good. Love the giant bar. Atmosphere is fun. Casual but a bit upscale. Pool table, darts are a plus.
Place is nice, quiet but it's Scotland Yard. What's Scottish here? Maybe it's our fault for not getting the place's specialty, wood fired pizzas, bit of you pit it on the menu, it better stand on its own merits. I.e. the "Scotland Yard" burger - has a "kilt" of cheese: tacky at best, and interferes with eating it at worst. I understand the grilled chicken sandwich was pretty bland and they charged us an extra 50 pence (50 cents) for a smear of sauce on the bread. I'll give it another shot, but I hope it stands up a bit better next time.
Scotland Yard is THE best pub in Rochester! The atmosphere is second to none and the food is great. Definitely stop in and give it a shot.
