The low room price for the Cooperstown area had me worried, but we walked into an immaculate room. We were in the front room that had an awesome "lake view" and a deck. It was not a huge room, but perfectly sized for 4 adults and 1 child. The staff went over the top to make us feel welcome. The family who owns and runs this Hotel went above and beyond for our team families. They have a full frig for food storage , microwave , great little breakfast area for our use. The grounds are well kept and the kids all loved fishing off the docks, swimming, and using the boats. Rooms are clean, a little dated, but in a quaint way. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

We have been going to the Lake House for years. The first time we went, we fell in love with the hotel itself. It is so welcoming with the wonderful antiques, lighting, hardwood floors, clean rooms, great food and the very friendly staff. We always feel so welcome and that they are actually happy to see us. We are happy to see the outdoor activities during the summer, so many people enjoying the entertainment and the great outdoor fireplaces overlooking the lake! Whenever we want a special weekend away we go to the Lake House to relax and feel right at home!

The Lake House itself is absolutely charming .My wife and I took advantage of the December Bed & Brew package which included a very memorable trip to the Brewery Ommegang outside Cooperstown. The Inn is right in the heart of downtown Richfield Springs, making it an easy walk to plenty of restaurants and shops. The Ommegang brewery tour on Saturday evening was interesting, but of course the real standouts were the beer tasting. We also visited the Fly Creek Cider Mill which was a lot of fun, think country store with samples of all they sell, including their yummy cider. Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend the Lake House Lodge.

I had our company Christmas party at the lake house with 70 in attendance, the food was excellent and the wait staff very accommodating. Will be having my daughters wedding and reception there this coming summer.
