Bella Vino

Having lived most of my life in Medford I was excited at the idea of having a wine bar right next door in Patchogue. Unfortunately this doesn't meet the quality of wine bar I have found in any other city (New Haven, NYC, Syracuse, Rochester, Pittsburgh, DC). First, I went to try it out July 4th weekend and their website said they were open until 2AM, I walked by and they closed. Then I came a second time at 11pm to find out their kitchen closes early, despite nothing on their website about this. I'll give you, the staff was nice enough to still whip something together, but then the veggies they served us were clearly a few days past their prime. I wouldn't even serve veggies like that guests in my own house. I came out to use an Amazon Local which also included two glasses of wine. While the wine menu was small for a wine bar it seemed ok. While it was not specified on the Amazon Local, I did not have access to the entire wine list but a limited selection. I had to choose a wine that my partner never drinks and one I only drink on occasion. Not only was it not one of our preferred wines, but it was clearly a cheap Chardonnay. It lacked any of the complexity or richness you expect with a good wine. If Bella Vino wants to call itself a wine bar they need to both expand their selection of wines plus focus on carrying higher quality wine.
I can poop better nachos and vomit better spinach dip. The only nice thing was that the service staff forgot to charge us for one of our dishes
Terrible! Huge mistake to go there. I could've made microwaveable food better than the dishes we got there. By no means is it a wine bar. I will never go there again!
Excellent Martini Menu. I'm not a big wine drinker - but the wine samplers look like a lot of fun! Brie & Apple Quesadilla was yummy. Trivia Night is great fun on Thursday around 8:30.
Great food & staff, not a bad atmosphere, but on their nights without entertainment (which are the only nights we like to go for some wine & cheese, they play an absolutely terrible variety of music. It goes from vulgar rap to country in a matter of one song. Id suggest some Real Jazz or maybe a "normal" variety. This Is the only thing keeping us from coming back. time to change it up! hey, even a Pandora account, which is free, would work.
