while the products they sell have great reviews, my review will be focused on the credit card scam some of the employees of this establishment in particular seem to be running. on Aug 6th I purchased 2 lemonades and paid with my credit card. It seemed very odd that the employee held my credit card for about 10 minutes below the counter while "preparing" the beverages so he had plenty of time to clone my CC. I got my drinks and my plastic back eventually but, I did not see them charge my credit card nor did I receive (or was offered) a receipt so, I didn't know how much I was charged. This all seemed suspicious at the time to me, but I was on vacation and chose to ignore all the red flags and enjoy my lemonade with my wife. I need to mention that I KNOW it was on this establishment because it was the only establishment I used my credit card in, my card is from a foreign bank with all information in spanish so the "nice" gentleman at the register must have seen it as an easy target. Taking into account that the subsequent fraudulent charges to my card were all made in NYC a few days later it all points to this single transaction at this coffee shop. Be very very careful at this (and any other) place with your credit and debit cards, especially if you notice similar, non-transparent behavior.
The place is beautiful, the coffee is great, and the wifi is free. As an iced coffee fan, I appreciate that simple syrup is available as a sweetener so that I don't end up drinking undissolved sugar granules by the time I reach the bottom of my cup. I'm not sure where the bagels come from, but they are also top notch. One downside is that since it is such a comfortable place with decent free wifi, tables can be difficult to come by.
Their coffee is so much better than any other coffee. My go to is the iced coffee with no sugar added powder. The blend it up so it makes you feel like you're having a treat. Love this place👍👌
Great coffee and tea. Nice staff. Less packed than starbucks.
Their white chocolate mocha is far superior to Starbucks'. On that alone they get 5 stars. I wish there were more of them around.
