The Sloppy Tuna
Reviews

For those of you familiar with Dewey Beach DE -- The Sloppy Tuna is Long Islands own Starboard. Essentially its a consistent party with plenty of poor life decisions made inside and out. Not that I dont appreciate it -- but its definitely a party bar. The prices are a bit steep for what you get. Its very easy to drop 200 bucks in a night if you are buying a round of shots. Overall the atmosphere is decent and they pull a crowd so this place definitely is a place to check out if you find yourself in montauk.

My boyfriend and I decided to drive from East Hamptons to Montauk, NY. This was our very first time experiencing the Montauk Lighthouse and walking through the beach. We were a little hungry, down to have some drinks (we love to drink hehe) I had read some reviews about this place so decided to go and try it out. We started simple with beers and followed with their REALLY GOOD BLOODY MARYS, we actually thought they had crab meat or fish meat inside them, but now that we think about it I think it was the horseradish. Very very tasty Bloodys. The view was amazing if you enjoy a open ocean view and people fishing on the shore. Our waitress was beautiful and attentive (maybe I would suggest more interaction between server and guest but that is not really a problem). We decided to start with a ceviche, the fish was fresh and it came with blue corn tortillas and ended with the famous lobster roll. It was a little pricy for the roll but me and my boyfriend shared it… more than enough and delicious, accompanied with fresh crispy fries! If you are randomly touring Montauk I suggest this place, me and my boyfriend are in out early 20's and I guarantee a really good experience in this place. :)

7.00 beers, the fish was great. The upper deck is nice place to chill. They do have wifi. Cool location. Like a lot of things in the area I think they are way overpriced.

The food was okay. Little over priced for what was served, Drinks were good but if you have kids and they drink soda its $4 a cup, no refils. Ended up paying $54 in soda alone! If you like to party its good at night, but definitely not for a family lunch with kids.

This place defines the laid back, non-pretentious atmosphere of Montauk - come here to drink during the day or dance the night away during summer weekends. Plenty of outdoor space!
