This restaurant would not seat us........Why???? I guess because I was wearing a black leather jacket. Plenty of tables were available. I would never go back to a place that judges their clientele, and then decides if they want to serve you or not. I did not have that problem with anyother restaurant in Lake Placid. Shame on them.
The food and the view were really exceptional! There were two servers for the dining room, and unfortunately we got the not very friendly one who was stingy with the wine pour, but she did not ruin our great experience! Try to the scallops Rockefeller.
Great family/dinner type place. Solid breakfast menu with some original dishes. Loses a star cause there's only regular coffee available. Despite there being a Starbucks next door... why not team up with them.

Did not eat here because of the rude staff. Seems I did not fit their snobby clientele. Too bad because I looked forward to it. Upon walking in it took over 5 minutes for us to be acknowledged and then hostess told us in a sharp voice we could sit in a booth, there was nothing in the dining room (it was half empty) and just walked off without asking what we wanted to do or seating us. Tacky way to be a hostess. .
