If you are looking for an outstanding food quality and presentation with cozy and tastfully decorated surroundings, you need to go to Butterfields. Visited on 2 different ocassions for breakfast and both times we were thoroughly impressed with the excellent quality and taste of the food. The special of the day uses fresh vegatables, superb seasonings and presentation. You just dont expect this quality in a small cafe in this locale. Cafe has been recently updated and renovated with tasteful country and retro antiques giving it a cozy, warm and "homey" feel. Both inside and outside tables are available. If you come mid morning you will likely need to spend a few mintues waiting outside on the front porch... this little beauty is being discovered.
On a cold snowy day this is the perfect place to go. The tea box had quite an assortment of hot teas. And the pear pie was absolutely exquisite! This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to.
