Great overall. Japanese operated.
We drove 25 miles to this restaurant after skiing all day because the local food wasn't great and we saw 3 good reviews of Tuna III. We were not disappointed! The tuna tataki appetizer was the best I've ever had, and I've tried it in many NYC Japanese restaurants. My husband had "shrimp kisses steak", and the steak was sliced and perfectly medium rare as requested, and also melted in the mouth like butter! The shrimp were grilled in the shells, tasty, and chewy but not tough. Nabeyaki Udon was not on the menu, but the "House Special Udon" seemed similar, so I asked for that with a raw egg added. Nabeyaki Udon generally has a few tempura shrimp, which I'm not fond of, so I didn't mention them. My dish came with chicken, shrimp, and scallops, all cooked in the broth. The udon was the riight texture, the broth, tasty, and there was sichimi (hot pepper mix) already on the table. The service was excellent. I think we're going back tomorrow! Oh yes, the price was great too!
Very good food relaxing atmosphere great prices
