We walked in and all eyes seemed to turn in our direction, and not in a good way. The waitress was pleasant enough, but the rest of the staff was robotic and seemed as if they really didn't want to be there. We ordered coffee and saw two orders coming out of the kitchen with scorched toast and well-overdone onion rings. One look at the menu and we were aghast at the prices they had listed. Five dollars for a hamburger without any fries, chips, pickle or anything! You could add "any potato" for an additional $2.46! Compare that to the Derrick City Diner in nearby Derrick City, PA where it's half the price and so many homemade fries, there's no way you could eat them all. Suffice to say that after viewing a couple more orders coming out of the kitchen, we drank our coffee and left without ordering any food. We won't be back, either. I hope they have loyal regulars who don't mind eating burnt food and paying an arm and a leg to to do so.
