Always an excellent experience. Great cakes (my son had a custom cake done for his 2nd birthday and he loved it!) and food. One of my favorite places to eat on Market St.
I have no clue why this place get's great reviews? The staff seemed busy even so it was not that crowded, perhaps disengaged? They only have 6oz cappuccinos and you pay for refill on coffee. I did not like my omelette. The mushrooms had a funny taste to it. My husband and son liked their breakfast items. But the coffee was lukewarm and my sons milk glass only 1/2 filled. I tried some wedding cookies and a biscotti and they tasted just ok. There was just nothing special about this place and I certainly will not return.
Food it's good. Service slow. Took thirty minutes till get my food. Restaurant did not seem busy. I would give it another chance.
Whenever I have enough money to eat out, I ALWAYS go to Walker Cake. Their menu is creative and extensive and affordable (seriously, trying to pick out a meal is darn near impossible when everything looks so good!), the food is fresh and delicious and generally quite healthy, the coffee is great, the cafe area is so cute and lovely (as is the outdoor dining area), the staff is kind -- they have got EVERYTHING right! Hands down my favorite restaurant in Corning -- I wish them longevity and continued success, and I will continue to recommend them heartily to all my friends and family!
