Staff were courteous. Food took longer to arrive than seemed reasonable, but it wasn't riduclous. My vegetarian daughter said the falafel was good. My big mistake was not asking the price of the hummus trio appetizer I ordered. 3 dollops of hummus and some (good) pita cost $18. Server tried to explain about homemade, yada yada but no way. No offer to do anything to mitigate my dissatisfaction. Will try several other Mediterranean places b 4 I return. My advice-don't order anything if you haven't seen the price in writing.
Dislikes: Poor service, Bad Chef(Steak was burnt then when asked for another served RAW!), expensive Likes: Layout and atmosphere, pizza was awesome!
This is just some liberal faux culture bar. I ordered a Jameson on the rocks and for 1.5 oz they charged me $8. My friend ordered a chamomile of which they only had my favorite grocery store brand Bigelow. I see the reviews about the food are great, but at 9:30 p.m. my interests change and were not accommodated. The bar tender was also female.
Best food on Elmwood. Friendly staff and a good place to hangout at night, always something going on. Plus the Dj Kills it every Friday that I have been there.
