Delicious ribeye steak Steak was chargrilled to perfection, medium rare, crusty and perfect inside. Hamburgers equally well prepared although our daughter had never had one charbroiled before and was unfamiliar with the smoky taste. Attentive service and overall very good experience.

I went here tonight with a good friend! I had an amazing time. Our waitress was thoughtful kind and worked in such a timely fashion! I wish I could have gotten her name so I could have contacted the restaurant to to tell them what a wonderful waitress she was! I tipped large and enjoyed the food and prices to the greatest extent possible. I would recommend the Ribs and Wings with the Loaded Mashed potatoes! The place has an AMAZING atmosphere and was well worth the small 10 minute wait for a table. I would be happy to return again sometime. The tables are all lit with candles and you receive bread and water with every meal for NO CHARGE. It's a perfect place for dates or casual meet ups. Alex's place comes complete with a bar and wide variety of alcohol and wines. I would even recommend this place for parties. Eat here and you won't regret it.

Fantastic place. Despite looking packed from the parking lot we were seated immediately. Ordered shrimp cocktail, stuffed mushrooms, salmon with marmalade, philly cheesesteak soup and finished it off with a slice of cheesecake topped with strawberry and chocolate sauce. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Our waitress was Kimberly and was absolutely great to us. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive. The food was served in succession without excessive waiting between items. The environment was good as well with soft music playing and at an appropriate volume to allow for conversation. Restrooms were clean. Great experience overall.

It's been awhile since we did the "sit down" thing......Folks, it's kinda "CRAMPED" for my taste!!! But when I wanna treat me & the wife to some OUTSTANDING take-out.......Alex's is tough to beat. And it's worth every DOLLAR spent. The girls are a GREAT staff that treats you right every time you stop in for your order!!!! $hrimp Diablo...........I'm "due a DOSE"!!!! Miss you guys......

i've lived in batavia all my life. i have eaten at almost every restaurant we have here. but this one, is by far the best. the food is amazing. no matter what you order you will be satisfied. the staff is friendly and attentive. i have been here several times. and each time i go, i love the place more and more! everything is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is great. oh, and if you are making a reservation for a larger group of people. try and reserve the library section. it's pretty nice in there. it's kind of secluded and very comfortable. :)
