We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Mountain Falls toward the end of March 2013, and it prompted me to write this review. While I normally do not consider taking the time to do so, I had to this time. For being such an important and memorable day where a lot of things 'could possibly' go wrong, it was JUST what I had expected. First, the planning of our wedding from start to finish was very well done by the GM, Master Chef and staff. They communicated with me 100% of the time, and I knew what to expect from start to finish. We spoke via phone, email, and in person often, making trips from Vegas to Pahrump worth all the while. From selecting the linens, taste testing. floor plans, and contract negotiations, everyone was VERY accommodating. The staff even worked wonders on some pre-ceremony 'hiccups' that we had experienced (and were totally our own personal responsibility) without even having to be asked. While getting ready to walk down the isle, I had staff handing me water, bringing me fans, and reassuring me how great I looked. That, was all the preparation I needed. The food was delicious!!! All of my guests continue to tell me, how good the food was, and how beautiful the scenery was. I keep telling them, it's worth the drive to have a great lunch/dinner at a beautiful and quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Drinks were very affordable, and they DO NOT skimp what so ever. It gave my guests the courage to dance their bottoms off. It made me so grateful, my husband and I were the last two people to leave the venue when all was said and done. We appreciate the staff so much we wanted to show our appreciation by picking up as much as we could, before being scooted out of the door by the staff who was encouraging us to enjoy our night. I was very proud of Mountain Falls, and appreciate Greg, Joe, April, Stacy, and all of the staff/cooks/servers that helped in making our day perfect. They took care of me and my new husband to the T. It will be a place we visit often, and we'll always look forward to making new memories there.
Great food. The Grill room used to be great for the price, now new chef has made the food just great, and comparable to places that cost twice as much or more.
