This company is the worst repair shop I have ever come across! We took our truck in to have the radiator repaired. Without a quote or estimate, they began working on the truck. They were specifically told to call us before working on the truck. They finally fixed the radiator and than accused our driver of losing the radiator cap so they can charge us more money to replace it. Our bill was already at $1300, and that's labor only. They didn't even have any parts; we had to order the radiator from Elko and have it shipped to this shop. Than they demanded that the payment be made with cash! What truck driver carries that amount of cash??? And they also ordered that the payment be made before 5pm or they will charge us afterhours rate to take the payment. With great hassle, our driver was able to locate a Western Union and we sent him the cash that way. Than the driver was back at the shop at 4:30pm, and guess what, the shop was "closed for the day". When we called and stated that our driver was there to make payment BEFORE 5pm, they said that they had "closed for the day" and would charge $500 extra to come back to the shop and take the payment. The next morning our driver is at the shop at 8am and the shop notifies him that they fixed the started solenoid overnight. WTF??? We called and they said that they had to move the truck in the night but it wouldn't start so they had to replace the starter solenoid to move the truck. AGAIN, no repair order, or an estimate was given before laying their hands on my property, which is a felony/violation. They could have told us the price BEFORE touching our truck and in some instance that's vandalism. We asked where he got the starter solenoid from, because they don't carry parts. But it just so happens that they DO in fact carry starter solenoids. They stated that they didn't have to call us to touch the truck; if they want to work on the truck they will, with no consent from us, the OWNER! So all in all, this shop loves to rip people off by not quoting at first, than they break other parts so they can fix it and charge ridiculous rates! They charged $30/gallon for coolant! Any professional driver knows that coolant can be purchased for $10/gallon anywhere else. We were also unaware of this until later, when it was already done. We don't even know if it was done! They might be charging us for not doing anything extra at all. They also took the truck hostage and demanded ransom in the amount of $500 afterhours rate in order to get the truck. We missed our delivery time for our load due to this also. They are also big time racists! Our driver was completely discriminated against when they told him he had sit outside (while they fixed the radiator) and that he could not sit in the waiting area inside. Our driver noted that the waiting area had 2 empty chairs and the other chair was occupied by a Caucasian male. They didn't let him in our truck while they "repaired" it nor inside. And that's because they were busy messing up our truck so that they could make more money. And the only reason we gave it one star is because you have to rate it in order to publish this review, otherwise we would give it NO STARS. We only dealt with one person, Kevin, but he sure as hell made this shop look BAD and I only request that if you get stuck, pay the extra miles for towing, BUT DO NOT BRING YOUR TRUCK TO THIS SHOP! They are racist, unprofessional thieves.

I was driving back to Salt Lake from Elko at about 10PM and got a flat tire just outside of Wendover. The guy from with Carlin Tire Center came to my rescue, He was there in about 20 minutes and got the tire changed and got me on my way in another 20 minutes. I was very impressed. These guys are top notch! Fast, and professional.

They sounded very friendly at first but then turned out to be a nightmare! I had a bubble in my tire and I told him ahead of time that I decreased the pressure for safety reasons, and without a written repair order, or an estimate, he deflates my tire by unscrewing the schrader valve, and later quotes me a price of $460 for ONE used tire (29575R22.5) and $580 for ONE virgin tire. He could have told us the price BEFORE TOUCHING MY EQUIPMENT and in some instance THATS VANDALISM. I was there at 5:15pm and they wanted AFTERHOURS rate to make more money. I could have gone the next 8am, but I had a load to deliver the next day. This guy looks like he loves to rip people off, by not quoting at first, leaving them stranded with no choice and we had to keep moving. They didn't even want to replace my schrader valve for me to air up my own tire at my OWN CONSENT. After all, "we are the professionals." The main problem here is, no repair order, or an estimate was given before laying their hands on my property, which is a felony/violation in the books for the automotive machine repair bureau. . Thanks, and this is an honest review.
