We had such a great night after our day in Death Valley. I can recommend this place to anyone who really wants to experience the real life in Nevada... The owner and his friends are very friendly! I can't say anything about food, but the beer was good :) Best evening in our trip of two weeks!
Dirty but full of character. My husband and I stopped here after hiking around Death Valley all morning. Our goal was food and beer. It was empty and the owner was surprised to see customers, but he eagerly offered us a choice of either a cheeseburger or veggie burger and some Sam Adams. The bar was dirty, but has been there for over 80 years and is full of character and history. We hung out with the owner the whole time and he told us about the history of the area and local mining industry and people. Our burgers were seasoned with hunger, plain as they were, we ate them with much gusto. Our beers were ice cold and refreshing. If you are looking for a dining experience don't stop here. If you are looking for a stop out of the Old West with a cat on the bar and friendly owner then this may be more to your liking.
