Our party of 5 ate dinner here twice while staying in the area. Food was of average quality, not terrible but not great either. Service was pretty good, again, not great but acceptable. The place itself looks great and if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'd definitely stay here instead of the other Inn in town.
I am a truck driver and appreciated the fact that they have truck parking. The food and portions were excellent, and very reasonably priced. I ordered the half rack of pork ribs. The meat fell off the bone, my baked potato was perfectly cooked and loaded with all the fixings. I will definitely return.
We stayed at windmill ridge in cabin #8 the last week in February this year. We got there late just before they closed the grill for the night. We had a pet cat and informed them as so. The room was dirty but it was too late to go on to Las Vegas. There was old pet food in the very dirty shag carpet that should have replaced years ago. The cleaning person does not know what a vacuum cleaner is for. In the morning we could see that the bedspread had stains all over it and there were cobwebs on top of the curtains and in the corners. The room was filthy beyond belief. If we had seen that before we went to sleep we would have left. The whole place looked as there has been no updates done for years as we stayed there about 5 years ago and it was great. I told the clerk when we left and turned in our key and they did not seem really concerned at all. We will never stay or even stop there again. If you want to stop then stay at the La-Quinta in Ely. Very Excellent place to stay. Room was immaculate, front desk was prompt with service. Staff was friendly. We needed to leave before breakfest and Tony took time out of his morning to make sure we had coffee and muffins for the road. That is an excellent run hotel.
We got the honeymoon cabin last night. It was PERFECT!!! The food was awesome, and the staff was top notch! They also have truck parking. More expensive than a room in Vegas, but worth every penny and then some.
