The 1 and 2 star reviews from a couple years ago had been my experience every time until I thought that I would give Cattle Barron one more try. I'm glad that I did. The meal was cooked just right and the service was fine. Something new has happened in the last few months. It is a good thing. Thanks
Very good prime rib and chicken fried steak. Great salad bar. Service was rushed, we just sat down with salad and our entree was served. Booth we were in was tight, too close for comfort. We'll eat here again.
i have been here about 5 times and every time ive walked out the door upset that i had not saved my money.the food is just ok at best and thats only if they get your order right.if all you want is then salad bar then go for other then that if a cook has to touch it then good luck!!!
Several of us went for a friend's birthday dinner. We should have known it was going to be a bad experience when the waitress tells us they had been out of straws since 11:30am, it was 4pm and there is a dollar store right across the street, so that is poor management. It took 55 minutes for us to receive our appetizer and the marinara sauce for the cheese sticks was burnt...yes I said burnt. 4 of us ordered hamburgers ranging medium rare to medium well and all 4 of them were well done and dry. The fries were also cold. There were only a total of 16 people in the restaurant and service was poor and slow. When we complained to the waitress, she just simply offered an "oh, I'm sorry" and walked off. When the manager came to apologize, if you can call it an apology, it was pretty much with the same non caring tone. It took 2 hours to get in and out and we will never go again.
I can't complain enough about this place. The food is NOT good, the environment is okay but not great, the beat survice I got was when apparently the waitor thought I was attractive and flirted with me more than he took my order. The best part of the place is the salad bar.
