There is nothing nice you can say about Crossroads Cafe in Logan, NM. Their slogan is "worth the wait" which appears to be nothing more than an ironic slap in the face to those passing through the town hoping to find a nice meal at what looks like a family owned cafe. Upon walking in you are not greeted by anyone and its only my guess that you seat yourself. We ordered quickly hoping to get back on the road and finish our 700 mile trip. The items we ordered were the Philly Steak sandwich (cheese extra) and the French Dip (cheese extra) Wait time for our meal was 55 minutes from order to serve and to reference their slogan was anything but worth the wait. Subpar does not begin to describe this place. Lazy, rude, and generally unapologetic wait staff. Had our meal only taken 3-5 minutes to cook it would have been a fair quick bite as we were hoping, but 55 minutes is beyond ridiculous. How this place is in business is beyond a mystery to me. Save yourself the trouble and keep driving. You'd rather starve than waste your time.
