Dakota Prime Steak House-Sushi
Reviews
Waitress was friendly, but everything else was wrong. The wine (Pinot Noir) came out hot (well above room temperature). The steak was ordered rare, came out medium (it's a steak place, and it was empty, mine was the ONLY steak they had to cook...). But the kicker, and what makes this story worth telling, there was a ROCK in the bread. Literally. A rock. A white stone about 3/4 inches long. At first I was excited because I thought it was a piece of roasted garlic, and who doesn't like roasted garlic in their bread? But I bit down and it was, without any doubt, a piece of solid matter forged in the earth millions of years ago. Our waitress told the manager who did nothing about any of this. The manager did not even come to our table to apologize or even attempt to make sure things were ok (the restaurant was empty, so it's not like he had anything else to do). Overall a completely unacceptable experience for the price. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Or take the risk that if something is wrong, they don't really care one bit about you as a diner.
Management is horrible over there. They will charge an extra two or three dollars for a drink with Grey Goose and give you well vodka. What does the management do? Nothing, they think it great because it makes the bar makes more money for them. Its bad business, everyone at my table caught on to their way of doing business and haven't been back since. Go to Kawa if you want sushi, longhorn if you want steak. Dakota Prime might seem like a decent place but the owners are crooks and take entirely too many short cuts. And when I'm paying over a hundred dollars for a nice dinner, I don't want short cuts. Would never go there again, your better off going next door to bennigans.
Great Sushi. Best Sushi in town. Nice little bar. Overall nice experience.
