My Wife and I found this winery in January and it has become our favorite. They Rustic food and wine they serve is outstanding. They recently installed a wood pizza oven and are serving hand crafted pizza. Our last visit, we had the Cats Meow pizza OMG is all I can say. The staff is supper freindly and knowledgeable. We absolutely love this place! It's a dog friendly vineyard. The staff is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Our favorite wines are the apple spiced and rosalita. We can't get enough...
A friend of mine recommended this place for a romantic night. And boy were they right. Very calming environment with great food and an amazing sunset view. Surprising my girlfriend with this really made her day. The wine was great as well. Bring some extra money you may walk away with some wine.
I went, with a group of friends, for the winery tour. We had a great time. Learned a lot about the whole wine making process. Our tour guide/partner was extremely knowledgeable. (Well, at least by the standards of someone who knows nothing about it.) A reallly nice tasting at the end of the tour with some bread and cheese. We sampled about 10 wines. All were really tasty. Then we spent some time on the porch with a bottle that we purchased. A really nice Saturday afternoon!
The wine truly is amazing! The vibe is cool and laid back. The Enoteca and Courtyard are truly beautiful. Is the Auburn Road Crew ironing out some rough edges in the presentation? No doubt. But some new, talented staff, a new kitchen that is almost ready (complete with an in house chef) and a dedication to making the experience as close to perfect as possible are already beginning to pay great dividends. Every Friday night is "What's for Dinner" Friday, there is great live music every Saturday night and a terrific, rustic Harvest Lunch all weekend long. Amazing tours with the winemakers every Saturday and Sunday afternoon (complete with cheese, bread, olives and wine tasting)! And of course the wine....you really gotta give it a try!
