Went to a private event here that was set up tastefully. I enjoyed it. Fun fact - the bar is named after the old Maxwell House coffee factory that used to be in northern Hoboken.
No longer what it was. It used to be a cool bar/venue where band would play. Sometimes legendary acts, but that's gone. The name is the same (different owners), but now it's a pizza place....like Hoboken needed another one. I don't care if the pizza is good or not, just don't be misled by the name and the old history.

Gotta love Maxwell's! My friends and I come here a lot. It's a great place to just kick back, hang out and enjoy live music. Fun atmosphere and pretty decent food as well. One of my favorite hangouts!
