I've always had a great experience here, the food is excellent with lots of fresh vegetables which you might not find at some other establishments. Good selection and great wait staff.
I was taking a workshop in NH for four days. There was really very few food choices anywhere nearby and none that were all that great. On the last night of my stay I discovered the Dragon Palace, only a short drive from where I was staying in Fitzwilliam, NH. Wow, I wish I had found this place the first night I was there. I had a dish with shrimp, vegetables and egg whites that was really good and well prepared: all the ingredients were cooked just right. I also had a bowl of wonton soup that, to tell the truth, had an off flavor to it, as if it was made with rancid oil. Overall, however, this is a great find. Good Chinese food at reasonable prices, and quick and friendly service. I'll be back if I ever pass this way again.
My wife and I ate at the Dragon Place for this first time a few weeks ago. It was on a Saturday night. What a surprise to find that we had not only a GREAT meal, but live entertainment as well. A woman with a guitar sat in the corner and played and sang during dinner. The chicken fried rice was the BEST we have ever had! We will bypass all of the Chinese restaurants in Keene and travel to Troy whenever we want a good meal.
CHANGE in OWNER ruined everything recently. Had been a regular here for years. Won't be back, probably close soon anyway, It's that bad. Hard to believe, I know. I'm very sad about it. Last night will be our last visit. Nothing is forever.
