The Sampan is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. The food is fresh and delicious, especially the crab rangoons, which are the best anywhere! I wish I could afford to eat there all the time.
I've taken my family there twice and we were very pleased with the food and the service. The prices are resonable. Ambience won't dissapoint. Best kept secret in Hillsboro!
My wife introduced me to Sampan about 9 years ago when we met and it has since been our absolute favorite place to go out to eat when we visit Hillsborough. The Crab Rangoon / Cream cheese wontons (whatever you want to call them) are my favorite. I haven't found a single place yet that makes them as perfect as Sampan does. It may not be the cheapest place, but its worth the price!
