Went on a Saturday night. The place was busy but they only had two waitresses which caused some inattentive service. Our glasses were never refilled and after receiving our meals we never saw her again. The food prices are good for the size of portions you get. I had the tortilla chicken soup which was excellent. The Philly cheese steak was only meh with bland taste and not enough cheese. The nicest atmosphere for a restaurant in town. I would recommend for the value.
The Wigwam Cafe is an Institution, a touchstone. It may not be the fastest food place, but that's okay; it's GOOD food served to and by good people, and that's more than enough. Enjoy it! Highly recommended.
Great food, with horrible service. We waited 1.5 hrs for our food because they "lost" our ticket. If you have 3 hours of free time, feel free to enjoy a nice meal at this joint that would normally take a half hour. P.S. When the food did come out I found a small hair on my chicken fried steak.
If you want a quick meal this is not the place to go. I left the Wigwam Cafe after waiting 15 minutes for service during Sunday brunch without even being acknowledged. It was frusterating when patrons who entered after I did were being served. This is not the first time I have had problems, so I doubt I'll be back anytime soon.
