Always Good Service and an attention to detail. Also I read Danielle's review, if you expect the world to always be fair then prepare for surprises, this was not the fault of the starbucks or employees but what sounds to me to be a pushy customer. Disregard danielle as she got online soley to whine about a selfish angle.

12/4/08 this morning, I drove to the Starbucks that is near my work - the one that I go to EVERYDAY. I noticed the line in the drive thru was much longer than normal so I decided to go inside. Apparantly, one of the machines had broken down and it was creating a very long wait. Unfortunately, things like this happen and I was not upset - in fact felt bad for the poor people working there because they were under so much stress. After waiting 10 mins to place my order, and then another 25 mins in line waiting for my drink, I started to get a little worried that I'd be late for work. Just then, a man - I believe his name is Bob - walked through the door and straight to the front of the line. He claimed that he could already tell that they must have had a machine down when he drove up because "this was his store....and he can tell by the # of cars in the drive thru what he could expect inside." He then started talking about how much of a hurry he was in and loudly exclaimed "I'll buy everyone in line right now a coffee for tomorrow, if you'll let my drinks be made first today." To his dismay, NO ONE took him up on the offer. Before I know it, he's walking to the door with all of his drinks made (he ordered more than one) and one of the employees started handing out $5 gift cards to those of us in line. There must have been 5 or 6. As if the non-response Bob got from the people in line wasn't enough, aparantly the employees at this Starbucks have given themselves the right to choose whose "business to be attended to" is most important. Don't get me wrong, the gift card was a nice guesture - had anyone actually taken him up on the offer, I wouldn't have been surprised. The fact of the matter was that just like Bob, the rest of us in line had lives to attend to - that in their own ways were just as important as Bob's. I was extremely offended. I almost asked for my money back for the drink I'd already paid for AND took my gift card. The worst part was that the staff could tell those of us in line were not impressed to say the least, but they acted as if we were wrong for being put off. In fact, they seemed to start moving even slower after Bob left. Quoting one staff member: "I could probably go outside and light a fire and make your coffee myself faster than this machine would...." Not cool
