I would not even give this bar one star but I was required to put something. I was treated with the worst service I have ever seen. It was a busy night so I understand being a little slow. But I sat at a table with an empty beer glass for 10 minutes. The server walked past my table and saw me but continuously ignored me. Not until a friend of mine sat down with me and got her attention did she bring me a menu for food. She did not come back to check on me or take my order so I got up and got my own beer at the bar. Later that night, this same server (I never got her name but she has dark hair and a septum piercing) came up to me and said "I was really busy earlier and you need to check your attitude. It was not appreciated." I was flabbergasted. She basically told me she was too busy to do her job and serve my table. I asked for a manager and none was on duty. I left the bar to ask one of the bouncers and they were of no help either. Another server came out and said I "shoulder checked" her and that I was not allowed back in. Don't worry! At this point I did not plan on ever returning. The bouncers told me they had to "back up" their coworker. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? This is a crappy college bar served by entitled little undergrads who don't care if they do their job or not. I would highly suggest not giving this bar your time.
Nice staff, good food and great selection of vodkas!
Best little bar in Sylva by far. All the staff I have met there are great. Food is best bar/pub food. Just enough tvs to watch the games but not so many it's distracting. Great deck area to play cornhole or smoke or enjoy the weather.
