The food is generally very good. Service is nice and fast and friendly. I don't expect amazing out of this fun, local joint...have always been satisfied with what we've gotten, and will certainly be back! Good beer selection to boot.
I have been here a total of 4 times. Each time the customer service sucked! Every time I have went, there is a sign that says wait to be seated, but no one is there to seat you. I wait 5 minutes then seat myself, I then proceed to get no waiter/waitress and watch them all hang out in the small corner next to the kitchen entrance for the next 10 minutes. I understand now why the seating at the bar is always full. The wait staff sucks at best. This place gets 2 stars for convenience of location
Service is what you expect from a packed bar on a Saturday night. I am a Dj, and their DJ and his music is bad. Drink prices are decent, but the food is not worth the price. Its a local place that is suited for early times and happy hour drinks.
Clearly the ownership has transitioned to phase 2 of operations. When they first opened they catered to the customer and worked to develop a relationship with the community. It seems as thought they are now into the maximize profit phase. My family purchased 4 the large mugs for $30 a pop. We wanted to contribute to the bar's program and we since they carried miller lite, it was cool. 6 months into the program for this year, the bar stopped carrying miller lite. When I brought it up to the managment, I was told that they didn't make as much money on miller lite so they stopped carrying it, but I could drink it from the bottle. Yesterday I went in and they didn't have miller lite in a bottle. I ordered an irish car bomb and they served me a shot glass with the jamisons and baileys separated - perfect. The guinness came in a small plastic cup. I was disappointed, and I explained that the beer is supposed to come in a glass and there wasn't enough beer. The people in my party told me to just drop it. I did, I dropped the shot glass into the beer and there wasn't enough beer to cover the shot glass. I asked for some help, the bartender did bring back a glass of guinness, but now the shot glass just looked like baileys. I know this is my problem, but I did bring up my concerns to the ownership, now I believe its my responsibility to inform the community. I believe this area is ripe for some competition.
Ordered the Texas Quesadilla and Cheese Fries. The plate of fries was stacked high and had a good amount of cheese and bacon. The quesadilla left much to be desired. However I will definitely go back and try something else. The prices werent too bad. Two large draft beers, quesadilla and fries and I spent under $30. Their beer selection was good. I think 6 or 7 on draft and A LOT of different bottle selections. The service was great. I was there for lunch on a Tuesday so it was rather empty, but the atmosphere seemed like it would be a great place on a Friday or Saturday night.
