Ruby Tuesday

Im so dissapointed with this place. This is the second time in a row that I have eaten here and each time I said " I will NEVER" go back. I ordered a bloody mary which was just horrible down the the olive, which tasted like nothing. Then we ordered the appetizer (Typhoon Shrimp) and tasted like frozen re-fried shrimp tossed in a mayo and sesame seed mix. My son order the fish tacos that came with some type of gelatinous sour cream on top that wouldn't budge. If you were to touch it, if wold slightly move and no residue would be on your finger?? I don't know what kind of crap food this place is serving, but with a shortage of great restaurants and decent places in Sanford to eat, we are constantly forced to take our money out of town to eat.
My family and I went to Ruby Tuesday on December 10, 2014. It started off okay but then the waitress Melody failed to sit the drink tray on the table, instead choose to hand out drinks while trying to hold it. In return the drinks all spilled on my oldest son down to his shoes, also his phone and sister as well, and the table of course. So we had to move to another table, booth since it was now sticky. Before ordering any food my husband spoke to the manager Chris about something getting down about the bill but all he could offer was either a appetizer or dessert. Not taking anything into consideration of what took place, yes I understand it was a accident. But he could have at least took care of my 2 older kids meals, being that the both did get wet in the process. We have not been to this place in a long time due to the piss poor customer service, along with managers not willing to do their job. Then of course when we got the bill that was a shocker within itself, we had coupons and asked for two separate bills, but of course that did not happen. Instead we got an outrageous bill divided into 5 sections where the coupons got applied, in the end did not matter much because again the bill was too high still. Will never ever dine at this establishment anymore, it is not worth the money that was spent, in all actuality we should of got up and walked out after the drink spill. That's the main issue I have with businesses stop hiring those that really don't have what it takes to perform the job to the fullest for the sake of the customers, not what they have on paper that qualifies them for the job it takes more than a degree or certificate to work with people. It helps that you are a people person, because then it comes more naturally not something made up which makes it fake not cool.
The salad bar plate is now half the size and you stll pay the same. Cheap no good management. They need fired....
Typical Ruby Tuesday.
To me, it's a step up from Applebee's, but nothing awesome. The salad bar is good, of course. Nearly all pasta dishes are covered in mandatory alfredo sauce (bleh). I enjoy their burgers. If you have a coupon, which they frequently mail out, it's a pretty good deal for a quick meal out.
