Very fresh seafood and really friendly people. Both fried and grilled varieties are good!
My husband and I live in Franklin, Va. We heard about a seafood restaurant in Murfeesboro, N.C. I "googled" the address and called the restaurant to see what time they closed. It was around 9:15 and the owner told us to come right on. When we arrived, the atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. It was very clean and refreshing. The music wasn't to lud annd very mellow. I wanted to taste the food. We learned that the waitress had only been there for one week. She was absolutely wonderful. We ordered alligator for the first time. My husband does not eat strange things. It blew his mind as well as mind. The flavor went all the way down into the meat. We both had the platter with everything on it....mine was half broiled. It was fried and broiled to perfection. I'm telling you......please try Johns Seafood. Residents of Franklin...you no longer have to travel 1 hour to Mayflowers or 40 minutes to Red Lobster. You won't be dissappointed if hou drove 15 minutes to Murfreesboro. Thanks John and your wonderful staff for staying open for us and letting my husband I enjoy a relaxing dinner and not rushing us.
I recently went here and was very surprised. The prime rib was amazing. The salad bar was very fresh and had a good variety of toppings. The cajun fried alligator was something I had never tried before but very tasty. A very good meal.
