I went to this shop one time and that was way too many. I tried looking for new books in the shop since most others I visit have new weekly books. I found no books that were newer than 8 months ago, if that. I looked over a lot of the issues on their wall and found mostly common books that were printed in massive number during the 90s. On top of that, these books were overpriced for the quality of the book and more than they were worth. While in the shop I really just didn't like the feeling I had while visiting. It was just awkward and whoever wound up talking to me didn't know what they were talking about when it came to comics. I haven't heard much about this shop from other people and its not surprising considering it really has nothing special to offer. Not long ago I heard that people who went in there asking for new books were straight out yelled at by some guy who was working there (maybe the owner, I'm not sure) since he didn't have new books. All I know is that I'm glad that didn't happen to me but it doesn't make my experience any better. If you're going to get comics in the High Point area, go to any other shop besides this one to fill your comic needs. Heck, just drive down to Acme. But whatever you do, PLEASE do not go to this shop.
