Ruby Tueday, the Mebane location has gone downhill in customer service. The food is good but the changes to the menu are less friendly then they use to be. My husband has recently been diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic. This is becoming more common in our older citizens, This basically means no white rice, white bread or white potatoes. The menu when we first started going to this location used to have baked sweet potato and mashed cauliflower. These items are no longer on the menu, which is a shame. These are 2 more choices a diabetic could have. They do have sweet potato fries and they do offer a wheat bun for their burgers. And they probably should start asking before putting the "free" plate of garlic biscuits on the table because once again not all people can eat them! The worst part of the customer service is when we are seated it is 99% of the time without silverware. We always have to ask for it after we visit the salad bar, we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope it will magically appear by the time we return to our table. Sometimes they are completely out and we must use disposable utensils. There was actually one time they said they were out to unsweetened tea!! How in the heck - you have start with unsweetened to get sweetened! That was beyond comprehension. The food is good and there are some very good waitresses there.
