Cooleys Restaurant & Pub

Tonight was the second time I've been and I really wanted to give it a higher rating. Service was great, but the food quality failed to impress me or my wife, especially for the price. Found out the hard way that most of the items on the grill are slathered in a spicy cajun sauce, but this is nowhere on the menu. When we told the waitress that I couldn't eat the shrimp, she politely apologized, but only offered to prepare me a new dish, which would've taken a while. My ribs were a little overcooked and the fries and salad were nothing you couldn't get anywhere else. But, I could be wrong as it's always busy and there's always a wait, so it could just be my opinion.
Great burgers here. I will come back when whenever I am in town
This is sad to write because I've been to this place a lot over the years, but the service has gone downhill some. Didn't get a drink refill and the roast beef was mostly fat. I was bummed because I was in a party of 6 with separate checks and the waitress still charged me gratuity when she didn't do much, for me anyway. The she crab soup was good though, but not enough. Time to dig into my snack bag and find something else to finish off lunch after spending nearly $13 at Cooley's today.
Breakfast is excellent. I like the "country" service. Nice southern setting. Has a little bar inside as well.
Only been there for weekend breakfast. Very good.
