Stopped in with my gf for brunch today. Had the hummus which came with fresh olives and sweet garlic. I had the eggs Benedict with bacon avocado and grits. She had a spinach chicken crepe. Coffee and a macchiato and a cinnamon crepe to top it off. Good service and food all around. Relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend this place.

What an excellent restaurant! We visited Bryson City the weekend of December 26-28 along with my son and his family (including my almost 4-year-old grandson). We had an amazing meal for dinner -- all of the food was top-notch. We enjoyed dinner so much we went back for Sunday brunch. Again, the food, service and attitude of the staff were exemplary. The quiche, fruit, granola and yogurt, Huevos Rancheros -- everything ordered was wonderful. I appreciated the locally sources and organic food options. The building is lovely with wonderful ambiance. Definitely plan to eat here if you are ever in the area!

The most beautiful building (interior) in the area and a great ambiance. The food is delicious and the coffee is better. Local trout was a treat and better than the competitors we tried. If you are in the area, stop in, you won't regret it.

I knew I wanted to visit Cork & Bean upon reading about it - it fit our need for local, organic and gluten-free food options. We were not disappointed. The locally caught trout was very tasty as were our other entrees and desserts. If I am ever back in BC I will definitely go again!

We were excited to partake of the locavore menu and casual atmosphere, especially after a nice afternoon in the river. We are two young families with two toddlers and a baby. We arrived before dinner began, around 4-something and were somewhat surprised that when we entered the coffee shop side that no one approached us. I had to cross the room and other patrons to speak with the hostess about what we wanted/needed. In total we were 7 people, and she offered to seat us at a 4-top with added high chairs, or she'd set up a table in the dining area. When we noted the 4-top wouldn't be big enough with plates, etc., only then did she say yes, she'd set up the dining room table. We were seated and served quickly enough, however one in our party had to wait until the rest of us were either nearly completely or already done, for his entree to arrive. During this period we were met with a variety of annoyed stares from the staff - we're used to it with patrons, but from staff it's not appropriate. We chose to eat early before any significant dinner rush, we addressed the needs of our children (which were not overly problematic - they're young children afterall) as quickly and appropriately as possible, but still were clearly but informally shown that our kids were annoying... as if we don't know that already. Now, if you don't have kids, I say enjoy it! The food was good and the drinks were nice - the wine and beer list is well appreciated. The ambiance and decor is comfortable, and I like to think that this establishment is one that is enjoyed by both tourists and locals. The prices are very nice as well, though to be clear we ate off the lunch menu. If I'm ever back with no or older kids, I'll return.
