Great crust on a great pizza with great service! Perfect place for a pizza in Avon.
After a 14 hour drive and dropping off our stuff at a nearby rental home, the five in our group popped in here for a pizza. Coming from Youngstown, Ohio - a place well known for great pizza - we weren't expecting the pizza here to be as good as it was. It did take about 5 minutes for the servers to stop glancing at us standing by the door then walking away. Once we were acknowledged and seated, everything after that was excellent. Later in the week, demand was high by the kids for another pizza from Gidget's, which they also enjoyed. I'd recommend this place without hesitation.
Great place! Pizza is fresh, and toppings are good. Not too pricey. Could use more beer selection. Would go back.
This place is a gem. You are greeted and treated like a good friend. It is like going home to Moms', but there aren't any awkward questions about school or what you are doing with your life or when can you move your boxes of stuff out of the attic. Lots of people have commented on the excellent pizza & pasta so I will mention that I am a big fan of the APK salad (greens, spinach, avacado, hearts of palm, & kalamata olives). BEST PIZZA EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG every time I come to the Outer Banks, I have to eat here. This pizza is the best ever!!!! I don't know how they do it, but they are great at pizza making, plus the salads and bread sticks are good as well. I love coming here almost every day when I visit the Outer Banks. This is the best place to eat. Even if they changed the name, the food is still the best!!!!!
