I rarely leave reviews online. But was so impressed with this place, had to spread the word. Friday 21nov2014 my mother (from Butte) & (in Bozeman) met here & enjoyed a long lunch, including: -- Cheeseburger: REAL ranch/grain meat & REAL cheese perfectly made to order (med rare). The fries were awesome, very crispy but not oily at all. -- Soup & salad were amazing.... clam chowder with excellent spice blend, and the salad had dark green leafy lettuce, pears, pomegranite seeds, feta, onions, cukes & yummy maple balasamic vinegrette. We were lucky to meet the owner too (new since only June2014). She & her team are doing excellent work. Talking with her and our waitress was a joy - many interesting ideas & some funny converstaion too. Since we had never stopped in to eat in ThreeForks (despite driving by it for 4 decades!) it was nice to chat with locals & getting to know them a bit. Service was excellent too. Despite the cafe being full when we arrived, we recieved service and our food very quickly. When we stayed to discuss some work/business - when other customers had left - we still received good service to heat up our tea on occasion. Our work/business we had to discuss had to do with some classified/important info from my work, and other sensitive family info. The waitress never interrupted us during important points of our conversation - a talent/skill very RAREly found in todays food servers, nearly everywhere. I've eaten all over the world and am very picky & educated about what good food & good service actually is. Trust me.... EAT HERE! :o] .... Excellent food - great quality and creative/yummy recipies & preparations. And very good people who truly understand what "service' part of "customer service" actually means. 2-3 minute drive off I90 -- slow down & enjoy the good things in life, which some are definitely here. Kelly has done an amazing job with the Iron Horse. Clean, nice staff and the best food you have ever had!

I recently had lunch there. The staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating. I travel for a large company, and truly the food was excellent and comparable to many large city restuarants but with the home style flavor and atmosphere that is truly Montana. I highly recommend their food and service. It is Montana made and Montana friendly.,....

Nice little cafe with friendly staff and good food. I would recommend this place.
