I am reviewing strictly on customer service. I was in abt a week ago to purchase milk and thought $6.47 was a bit over the top for a gallon of milk. Still, I paid it and went on my way. However, I didn't like it, reviewed it, and sorry do not remember where I reviewed it (Yelp, Travel Advisor, or on here, idk)Soon Chris Smith sends me a very nice email apologizing and tells me to bring in my receipt and they will refund my money. Wow - what a surprise! We happened to be in Kalispell at the time so today while we drove thru Missoula we stopped for diesel and went in to chat with Chris. He was very polite, respectful, and ready to please the customer!! Kudos to Chris! Refunded my money AND a replacement gallon of milk - all with a smile and no attitude! (so used to AZ attitudes with service people!) Casey, a cashier, has the same customer awareness!! Makes ME wanna come back!!One thing tho hubby pointed out is the crappy windshield squeegies. Not a biggie tho :)
Wow. Now wonder the parking lot and diner areas are empty. I wonder where the good old trucking boys are grabbing breakfast now. This used to be a great place to get a good diner-style breakfast, but since I was last here years ago, they remodeled and turned it into a order-at-the-counter, condiment-packet, "country theme" yuppy cafe. My breakfast actually came with plastic utinsels. Such an utter and complete disappointment. They've killed an old-school gem. Food was decent for the price, and that's the only reason they get 2 stars.
Wheat Montana Bakery and Deli, some great good. I would definitely recommend. Reuben and vegetable barley soup is excellent
I like the fact that when you fuel @ the Diesel Islands they have a service attendant. just during the day only.
