I just spent a week in this historic log built hotel. The rooms are comfortable, with the best mattresses I've ever found in a hotel. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I watched out my window as a young two-point buck in velvet munched clover and other delicacies in the back yard. The motel lap cat noticed that I have a cat lap, and my evenings were spent in comfortable communion with the owners, the guests, and of course -- Phoebe that cat. The food and coffee were great too. It just doesn't get much better than this. And if you're more of a dog person, you'll love their Shih-tzus.

A nostalgic touch from the past with outstanding hospitality and charm. Out of 7 nights of travel the Lincoln Hotel had the best bed we slept on. A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. KJ
