If you are not looking to spend to much money go upstairs they have a good selection to choose from. Looking to have a romantic dinner or whatever go downstairs very good Steaks & snow crab legs, amazing salads downstairs. Uncle Joes are famous for there blooming onions for an appetizer. They make also amazing alcoholic drinks.

DON'T WASTE GOOD $$ & TIME!!This was a WONDERFUL restaurant when Joe and his wife owned it. Now it is an extremely expensive, hurried & harried place. The steaks are tastless now; the service horrid. The last time I went there my tenderloin was tough and stringy. When I pointed this out to the waitress (who has worked there 20+ years and in the past had been very thoughtful) she looked closer at the cut of meat and said "THAT IS WEIRD!!" ...and walked away. What? It is a shame because I used to recommend and take people here very regularly. SHAME ON YOU NEW OWNERS!!!

We stayed the night in Havre and wanted to go out to a nice dinner. A few people recommended Andy's Supper Club and the Mediterranean Room. We stopped by Andy's first but they weren't serving prime rib so we went down to Uncle Joe's because I read a few good reviews on the net and the menu looked good. There were steaks, salads, and pasta and plenty of other things to choose from. We both ordered prime rib. I have never had a bad prime rib in my life until that dinner. Despite the menu saying it had a flavorful rub on it, it tasted like straight flesh. No spices no flavor other than blood. I thought maybe the meat was supposed to taste different over east because of what the cows were fed or something so I didn't complain. Shortly after leaving we felt pretty salty about the whole meal. We paid $55 for the meal and still left hungry! We went back to our hotel and ordered Pizza Hut and finally got our fill. I decided when I got home I would call and talk to someone about the meal. I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone for two days. Finally today someone answered and referred me to a lady to talk to. I explained the situation and she was VERY rude. She said I should have said something that night, and now looking back I totally agree that we should have sent the food back, but she could have been nice about it. She treated me like a burden and basically told me they weren't going to do anything to make it right. She could have at least been professional and courteous about it. Needless to say we will NOT be going back nor will I recommend the place to anyone. Even the waitress said she wouldn't recommend their pasta so we should have taken that as a sign and walked out to begin with. Do yourself a favor and check out one of the other two places that were recommended to us for fine dining. On a side note, the day before we ate at Wolfer's Diner and that place was fantastic so I would highly recommend it!!!
