I go to Rio Sabinas all the time. The happy hour Margaritas are great. I love the food and normally get Carne asada which is a large plate so I always have extra for lunch the next day. Service is always fast and accurate. I would recommend this as a dinner location for any of my friends.

This place is addicting! Happy hour margaritas are the best I've ever had. I haven't had a bad dish yet

My family and I went to Rio Sabinas because we were told if you wanted good, original style Mexican food, it was the place to go. So we did. There we're five of us, and we're greeted and seated promptly by our friendly server, who brought us some Awesome Chips and both a Red Salsa and a Green Tomato Salsa... So when it was time to order dinner, we we're stoked!! One of their recommended meals for the evening was a "5 Cheese Chili Releno" dinner which my wife opted for with much anticipation. I had the Beef Taco dinner; my daughter had the Tequila Marinated Shrimp dinner; my son and his girl friend shared the Carna Asada Beef Steak dinner. So what promised to be very, very good, turned to very, very bad in short order... My tacos were ok, nothing special (the rice was still hard / under cooked).... my sons carna asada was very good.... my daughters shrimp were hard and dried out... BUT MY WIFE'S "5 Cheese Releno" took the award for worst Chili Releno we'd ever had anywhere!! While it was physically very large in size, taking up most of the dinner plate, it was a very very poor representation of a chili releno. There was much to much batter attached to the cheese mixture center, and there was no chili inside at all?? Chili Relenos should have a Chared Green Chili Center with a Melted Cheese Center. We thought the "5 Cheese Releno" should be retitled the "5 Dipped Releno" as it was ALL BATTER and no substance! We each took a small bite of it to see what was there and we all left it lay. At $65 + tip for the chips and salsa, we felt our money would have been better spent somewhere else.... and there are lots of quality restaurants in the Gallatin Valley to choose from. Rio Sabinas is not one of them.... We'll never go back, nor will we recommend it to anyone.

Get the beef fajita tacos. Totally addicting. Can get loud in there, but the food is awesome.
