I feel like a little kid walking into a candy store whenever I visit Paul's Pastry. They have a huge variety of cakes, cookies, pies, and their famous king cakes. Everything is baked on site, and you can taste the superior quality of their ingredients in every delicious bite! I am blown away by their theme birthday cakes. The bakers are true artists! The employees are all super kind too. Definitely worth a visit.
Wanted to like but industrial sludge seems to be an appropriate term to describe the products they produce. I remember when they used to use sugar instead of corn syrup and even then it was hit or miss. Do not waste your time on their sugar free items either. This place tries to be relevant but needs a complete kitchen/formulation makeover.
Best King Cakes in the world. I live out of town now, but always miss Paul's King Cakes! Maybe I'll have them ship me one this year!
Paul's is a staple of this area. I want a king cake just talking about it.
They have the best king cakes and the lunch specials are delicious!
